DELHI PUBLIC SCHOOL (KALINGA)

Delhi Public School is one of the most prestigious schools in Orissa. It was built on an area of 28 acres. It is built with a concept where kindergarten, junior, middle and senior schools are in different blocks having separate courtyards. In the middle are the administrative block and an open auditorium which is landscaped to merge with the school. There is a huge library, music and drama classes. There is a huge double storey canteen at one end that caters snacks and meals to children. There is a gymnasium with an Olympic size swimming pool.
HOTEL TRIUMPH RESIDENCY (MEGHDOOT)

This is a prestigious hotel owned by the OSL group in Orissa. It is located in one of the busiest neighborhoods in Bhubaneshwar. It was an old building, called Hotel Meghdoot. The photographs of the old building are shown. The client wanted a Rajasthani concept in the hotel so it was designed with the proper study of Rajasthani elements that is reflected in the building’s exteriors and interiors.
MR. TARA PATNAIK’S RESIDENCE

When you have an 8500 square feet space to play with, it’s quite natural that you make the most of it. Architect Lalit Maganlal has surpassed himself in crafting this unique home for the Patnaiks, which has some extraordinary elements of detailing. The main lobby of the house has a double height ceiling with heavy but yet elegant wood work. The double height ceiling of the living room creates airy and spacious interiors and the wooden rafters and beams on the ceiling give it an old world charm.
