When you have an 8500 square feet space to play with, it’s quite natural that you make the most of it. Architect Lalit Maganlal has surpassed himself in crafting this unique home for the Patnaiks, which has some extraordinary elements of detailing. The main lobby of the house has a double height ceiling with heavy but yet elegant wood work. The double height ceiling of the living room creates airy and spacious interiors and the wooden rafters and beams on the ceiling give it an old world charm. The residence has been divided into two different levels, one level housing the drawing, dining, kitchen and a formal drawing room, while the other level housing the bedrooms. The designs are unique and specially developed to suit a very specific, rich and luxurious taste of the client. The well tended interiors also reflect the love that its owner has for beautiful spaces.
